As I was trying to find the right words to describe Patricia and Daniel’s beautiful ALX Rooftop wedding, I realized that I can never do it better than the couple themselves. Intimate, focused on what matters the most – their love for each other and their son, P + D exchanged the most beautiful vows with breathtaking views of Alexandria, and this is their story:
“We say we did everything backwards. We met at work, as colleagues, which has proven to be a great foundation. We eventually became friends, and started dating years later. Since it was the middle of covid, we learned to parent and live together before the traditional dating scene was even open to us. Patricia proposed first, then Daniel. We bought a house, then had the legal marriage and honeymoon already. You might have heard this before, but we love doing everything together. We balance each other. We steady each other. Somehow we always know what the other needs. We have a profound respect for each other’s opinions, thoughts, ideas, and we never have a problem admitting we are wrong or changing our stances, when needed.
We pride ourselves on being able to work together, but wedding planning has still been a challenge. We are both excited for the planning work to end and the fun to begin. We cannot wait to share the day with our son, Daniel Junior, and all our loved ones.”
